About French Bulldogs

In general, French Bulldogs are affectionate and love to be around people. They are active, but not overly noisy. French Bulldogs are categorized as Companion Dogs by the American Kennel Club and are a good choice of pet if you are looking for an indoor dog.  They require moderate exercise, but given their dwarf stature and short face, they don’t do well with heavy exercise like extensive running.

Size and Appearance

Frenchies are small, but muscular dogs. Perhaps the most famous feature of the breed is the short face in combination with pointed bat-like ears. Adults tend to weigh no more than 28 pounds, though there is some variety between littermates. Frenchies come in many colors including brindle, fawn, white, or pied (brindle or fawn and white).
